Development-Life Skills

We  cover a wide array of areas, including:

Daily Living Skills: These services aim to help individuals with disabilities develop and improve their abilities to perform daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management. Providers may offer training and support in areas such as grooming, hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.

Social and Communication Skills: We support participants in developing their social and communication skills to enhance their interaction and socialization with others. This may include training in conversation, interpersonal communication, relationship building, and social etiquette.

Emotional Regulation and Coping Skills: MKSDS also assist individuals in developing strategies to manage and regulate their emotions and cope with stress and challenging situations. This may involve teaching relaxation techniques, mindfulness practices, and problem-solving skills.

Independent Living Skills: We assist participants in developing the necessary skills to live independently, such as managing personal finances, organising schedules, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

Personal Development and Goal Setting: MKSDS offer support in setting personal goals, creating action plans, and working towards achieving those goals. This may include assistance in identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for personal growth.
